Individual Services

For those tough diabetes-related issues, individual counseling and psychotherapy is available from our staff. In addition, several structured individual services are currently in development:

THE DIABETES SUMMIT – A two-hour session where the individual completes a series of structured questionnaires, all designed to pinpoint and make sense of the person's particular diabetes stresses. Following feedback and discussion of the results, a collaborative plan for addressing those stresses is developed.

DIABETES PERSONAL TRAINING – A six-month program focusing on individualized problem solving and slow, steady improvements in diabetes care.
